| Review: | Told wrong info I had to have 2 onlays done and called United Concordia 2 weeks prior to see if any precert etc needed to be done. Was told it covered 50% and no predetermination needed. It would be covered. I had the procedure done and now they have denied my claim after my dentist faxed in pre and post xrays and a narrative. It has been denied twice and my dentist says the procedure was medically necessary! I was told today I should have had a predetermination done. I am a state worker and this is one of the dental insurances offered. I plan to switch to the other company and plan to tell my co workers the same. It isn't right I have a $2000 bill when I did my part. I would never recommend this company. |
