Review: aka OptumHealth Allies
First I signed up for the plan from Cigna, but then discovered that the "rate" sheet that I was provided prior to purchase is merely an "example" of prices. The actual discount is about $10 per service. Then I switched to OptumHealth Allies because they provided an actual rate sheet for my dentist. This, however, turned out to be false. After several hours spent on the phone and internet with dentalplans.com, OptumHealth Allies, and United Health Care (the real owner of the contract), I learned that the rates provided to me were substantially lower than the rates provided to the dentist. I cancelled the worthless policy and will never look back. Unless you plan to have major dental surgery and your dentist is on the approved list, don't waste your money on this "discount" garbage.

Review: AVOID UNITED HEALTHCARE
MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN THAT THEY FIND A REASON TO DENY ALMOST EVERYTHING. CUST. SERVICE AGENTS DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL DO. CLAIMS NOT PROCESSED CORRECTLY MORE OFTEN THAN NOT. JUST NOT WORTH THE HASSLE
